For companies that would prefer to keep things private, there are also Studio and Enterprise editions available for installation on internal networks. A free demonstration of the software is available via the Magma Studio website.
“Magma Studio is a game changer for collaborative drawing,” Bobby Chiu, founder of LightBox Expo alongside Jim Demonakos, said in a statement about the new product. “This application is specifically crafted for artists looking to create art with others, or any team looking to bring remote work to any device.”
The announcement of Magma Studio comes coincides with this year’s LightBox Expo, the illustrator-and-designer-centric trade show which has been reinvented as a virtual event with a walkthrough show floor in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The three-day event begins Friday, and runs through Sept. 13. More information about the show can be found here.
