Peacemaker stars John Cena, reprising his role from The Suicide Squad. He plays a man believes in peace at any cost — no matter how many people he has to kill to get it. Steve Agee also stars as John Economos.
Gunn, whose The Suicide Squad is set for Aug. 6, 2021, wrote all eight episodes of the series, and is directing multiple episodes, including the first. He produces via his Troll Court Entertainment, alongside Peter Safran of The Safran Company and Warner Bros. Television. Production is due to begin in early 2021, before Gunn shifts his attention to Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
