Lesley Ann Warren (born August 16, 1946), is a Golden Globe Award-winning, Oscar nominated American stage, film and television actress and singer.
Superman TV special
It's a Bird...It's a Plane...It's Superman was made into a TV special on February 1, 1975. It was broadcast on the ABC network under its Wide World of Entertainment late-night umbrella title.
It starred David Wilson as Superman/Clark Kent, Lesley Ann Warren as Lois Lane, Loretta Swit as Sydney Carlton, David Wayne as Dr. Abner Sedgwick and Kenneth Mars as Max Mencken.
Coincidence
Lesley Ann Warren who played Lois Lane in "It's a Bird...It's a Plane...It's Superman" also auditioned for the role of Lois Lane in Superman the Movie, and went on to play Lois and Clark's Lois Lane, Teri Hatcher's mother, in Desperate Housewives.
