History

Hyde is associated with Time-Rider and Deadlaw stories and is a member of the Lost Heroes and the government organization known as ATTA.

In the late 1880's, Dr. Jekyll discovered a terrible potion that would grant him incredible strength, but also transformed him into a monster known to the world as Hyde.

At first, Jekyll lost control of the creature, becoming a murderer. Intense guilt overwhelmed him in later years. Thus he allowed the world to believe him dead. While in the the shadows of London he tried in vain to amend for the evil he had wrought upon this world.

Years went by and Jekyll found he could control his transformations without the aid of the potion. He chose to remain in his monstrous form for the most part, though, due to his increasing frailty of age in his Jekyll persona.

He made his way to the United States and was discovered by the government, who at first mistook him for an alien.

Now, well over a century old, Hyde still hopes to atone for his murderous acts by fighting the forces of evil as a member of the Lost Heroes.

Cure for Aging

Recently, it has been revealed that Jekyll has been able to reverse some of the effects at least of his old age. Although at this point he still appears elderly his overall health has vastly improved which has allowed him more time as his human self.
