History

An undercover cop in the 1980's named Matthew Corrie came home one day to find his wife murdered, and himself murdered only a few minutes later by his own partner, Marcus. Years later in present day Corrie woke up in the garb of the Deadlaw. His personal mission to bring to justice those responsible for his wife's death.

Personality

Deadlaw is sometimes a very angry and bitter man, but seems to retain some sense of humor perhaps as a way to cope with the rage within he feels over his wife's death. He will not kill small time hoods unless they happen to be shooting at him or attempting to cause him permanent harm regardless of whether or not the criminal has the potential to cause him any real harm or not. He has no patience for murderers and does not hesitate to put a major hurt on them.

Powers

He now has the power to see ghosts and other supernatural figures. He has super strength, flight, and the ability to move objects with the power of his mind much like a ghost would levitate objects. He can move through solid objects, but must focus most of his concentration to do so thus he can get hit with fists, bullets, etc as the battle might take away from his ability to use his complete concentration. He also has the ability to heal very quickly once he is shot. Due to a sighting by an old man who swore Deadlaw had fought during World War II it might be plausible that Deadlaw is immortal like a vampire of sorts.

Weaknesses

So far it has been revealed that he is particularly vulnerable to silver bullets. If a silver bullet were to stay under his skin very long he could conceivably die like any other mortal.
