Editorial Reviews:

For those of you craving unchecked, cover-to-cover giant robot action (guaranteed no humans!) on an epic scale, look no further. So far, we've had tantalizing hints about the state of play elsewhere in the Transformers universe, but now we look in on Cybertron itself, unlocking a dark, dark chapter in the planet's history, one that is about to hit the Autobots and Decepticons again... full force!

Summary: Review for "Stormbringer"
Comment: "Transformers :Stormbringer by Simon Furman and Don Figeroa is great read for any hardcore transformers fan. The artwork in this book is phenominal and the story is quite engaging. The one drawback of this book is the length (or lack thereof)of the story. There is a rushed sense of storytelling and therefore leave the reader wanting more.the main battle with Thunderwing was over before it started and the whole tale should have been fleshed out more. If this were a movie I could understand the almost "overview" style, but a graphic novel has no excuse.

Summary: No humans! More of the same robots!
Comment: Taking place simultaniously alongside Infiltration, Stormbringer fills in the gaps between the Cybertronian Civil War and the new IDW Continuity. Here furman brings back his favorite characters from the old continuities Bludgeon, The Wreckers, and Thunderwing, who's mutated into an invincible force of destruction.

Once again Jetfire is captured and force to watch from behind the scenes as Bludgeon starts to unleash all kinds of Hell. As Prime faces off with Thunderwing, who defeats the Wreckers with ease, he rips of a long, preachy rant about the futility of war. Lucky for him, Thunderwing ran out of juice, for now. In the end, Prime finds a link between this event and one occuring on Earth, which now has his attention.

The artwork is incredible, and the story underwhelming. Same characters doing the same stuff, it just looks prettier. Highly recommended for fans of Furman and completists. Others may want to pass it up.

Summary: GREAT TF STORY
Comment: This TPB has another great TF story from Simon Furman. It's a little short for my taste but the plot is quite good and character interaction is awesome! The art from Don Figueroa is spectacular as usual but, there are some panels that look rushed and not up to his high standards. The paper quality is A+

Summary: Best of the Best
Comment: For adult fans of the series, especially the War Within - Furman and Figueroa pick up where Dreamwave left off. Great depth and art. Refreshing to not get a story dumbed down for teenagers. Art sets the bar for the Transformer brand.

Summary: Another great Cybertron story
Comment: Another great must have Transformers story for those fans who love Cybertron centric story lines. No humans around for this gig, but there are plenty of mythological references to amply substitute.
