Smallville Season 11 Goes to Comics

shastab24: Okay, I haven't seen the second half of season 10, so I may be reacting to old news, but: they got rid of the red shorts on him, too? What the heck? I like the red shorts, and feel their aesthetic completes the costume and any attempt to remove them diminishes the overall look of the Superman costume.

But season 11 might work in comics. It does seem like they're trying to jump on the success of Buffy's seasons 8 and 9, but who knows? Maybe Heroes can follow suit and we can see even more continuation of shows I like in comics.

Will Smith After Earth is No More

Tim: After Earth (previously known as One Thousand A.E) starring Will Smith and his son, Jaden Smith is being directed by M. Night Shyamalan. After Earth is a sci-fi film which tells the story of a father and son's journey through deserted Earth, after their spacecraft crashes on the planet thousand years in the future. Sounds pretty interesting. This is the kind of story that's sort of reminiscent of something from Hollywood's days gone by in the sci-fi genre or a really good comic book story of yesteryear. This is the kind of story I love. I just hope they can throw in some shocks and surprises along the way because that's what makes a story like this interesting. It's kind of like what happened at the end of the first Planet of the Apes when Charlton Heston saw the Statue of Liberty. Got to have a gotcha moment something that the audience isn't expecting. Just please don't end it like the Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes and never finish the story with a sequel.

I have a lot of hope this will be a great movie for one reason. Will Smith is very careful about what movies he stars in usually. I don't think he'd take the part if he at least didn't think it was going to be a good one.

Crusader: Sins of the Past

Rick Jones:
Sounds like to need to pay Devastator a visit and “thank him” personally- says Spy.
This should be good. Crusader needs to have a showdown with Devastator!
Enjoy your self-righteous crusade while it lasts.
That was a great line. I noticed the word choice here: "crusade".

SHADOW Company #2

new midnight avenger: Thanks guys, I'm really trying to make Wraith a complex character with a lot going on.

Oh and yeah Rick the new Osprey is a bit of a jerk (I would use another word but its not appropriate to this site). Damian Cross has an attitude b/c he doesn't like being assigned to Shadow Company. He's a CIA operative who is attached to them bascially to keep the CIA up to date on their activities.

SHADOW Company #3

Rick Jones:
“Raptor’s mother” Jackrabbit muttered and when he spotted Wraith looking at him he explained “Sojourn Industries is owned by Raptor’s mother. That’s where Shadow Hawk gets most of the parts to build his gear. But I don’t see the company doing business with known terrorists.”
I wonder what the connection is...

Great action! [blast]
