DYNAMITE LAUNCHES THE BATTLESTAR PEGASUS!
New Battlestar Galactica: Pegasus One-Shot Available in October!
August 14, 2007, Runnemede, NJ - DYNAMITE ENTERTAINMENT today released images and information announcing Battlestar Galactica: Pegasus, a one-shot issue featuring an adventure of the crew and commander of the Battlestar Pegasus. Scheduled for an October release, Battlestar Galactica: Pegasus will be available with a cover from Greg Tocchini and with a Battlestar photo cover.
Battlestar Galactica: Pegasus is a special New Battlestar Galactica 40-page one-shot featuring the unseen story of the Battlestar Pegasus and Commander Cain! The one-shot is being written by Brandon (BSG:Season Zero, BSG:Zarek) Jerwa along with New Battlestar Galactica artist Jonathan Lau. The story presents the events leading up to the Cylon attack on the human colonies as seen in the "re-imagining" of Battlestar Galactica on the Sci-Fi Channel! All under two incredible covers, one by Greg (Thor) Tocchini and the other a fan-favorite Galactica photo cover!
Previous praise for Jerwa's Galactica work includes this from the Comics Waiting Room of his Zarek mini-series: "ZAREK is an intense, personal piece of work, and the best work I've seen from Brandon to date. And the fact that he was allowed to give this much background and detail to a character still being seen on Sunday nights is remarkable. If you're a fan of Galactica, this is even more of a must-read than the main book.
