I'm really working this new Deadlaw idea of mine pretty slowly. I want to get it right. I keep feeling like I'm missing some key ingredients with my other stories. I'd really appreciate any comments or suggestions here. These are just the first two pages I've gotten so far. Where I might normally get a page or two in a day. I've been kicking around ideas in my head for these couple of pages like a few weeks here. Well I guess I've been thinking way ahead focusing on where I want to go with this character, and just what kind of character he is.

I like it got a batman feel to it

But I think Gabriel should be plotted against someone that isn't the main devil but a high ranking demon maybe like Mephistopheles from Faust or even Beelzebub theirs a huge lists of baddies just waiting.

Sorry if I put you in a awkward position but after cleaning my closet I fond some old notes I wrote about the Street Angel's bio and it kinda similar to Darklaw but instead of his partner shooting him it was mobsters and as he lay dieing he saw an angel hence the name Street Angel.

Angry that I didn't go down this path I been writing  a revamp of Street Angel bio but this time he'll be in modern times instead of the 30's.

Since Darklaw was framed for the murder of his family maybe he was sent to prison where he was killed by the electric chair but he comes back to life as a ghost with supernatural powers. Just an idea and I'm more then happy to rewrite Street Angel's bio if you like.

Sorry for the inconvenience, happy writings!

Well let's see actually I named the character Deadlaw, but Darklaw sounds pretty good. Decisions, decisions.

Anyway though here's where I was going with it, Deadlaw maybe Darklaw now, his origin would be like after he gets shot he wakes up in a alley. He never actually sees the angel till a little later. The angel and the devil are like representing his conscience. I used Gabriel because I also had Time-Rider run into once. I figure he can see dead people, go invisible, float, and junk like that. He's not quite sure if he's a 100 percent alive really. I'm not sure I want to really name the devil dude just yet. Leave it to the reader's imagination I guess.

But anyway the angel isn't really an integral part of my character's origin. It's just another thing he can see in the spiritual realm since dying or almost dying. So I don't think it will really conflict with your character's premise.

So do you think Darklaw is a better name than Deadlaw?

Funny thing that idea of yours about the electric chair. I almost went with that. I'm really in a state of indecision as I write this. It just takes so long to get it down, I want it to be perfect.

Not bad

I'm 60% for Darklaw, 40% for Deadlaw.

I'm very undecisive. This morning I was leaning toward Deadlaw.

Oh Amazing, I hope you don't think I've got in the way of your story or anything cause I don't think it would hurt your story and mine to go in similiar paths if you don't care. I think mine is still a lot different, but let me know what you think.
