LOST HEROES FOUND Part 1
*NOTE:not official time rider story or continuation*
Deep in the ATTA head quarters, Time-Rider was introduced to the new team of Lost Heroes.  That was four months ago.
Robin Hood--"It's been two months, since we did anything eevn remotely interesting, and neither the Time dude, or the Surfer dude are ahywhere to be seen."
Hyde--"Didn't that Surfer dweeb that recruited us promise action packed lives as famous heroes, because right now there's about 3 people that even know we exist."
Crocket--"You guys just need to wait for your time.  Evemtually, some monsters will need crushed or so--"
Hyde--"Hey!  Monsters ain't always evil!  For all you know we might have to kill a bunch of crazy cowboys!"
Crocket--"I'm not a cowboy..."
Hood--"So wait a minute Hyde, you're saying monsters can be good guys?!?  S'far as I can tell the Hulk movie sucked and you were like some half evil scientist dude before...what did ever happen to you?"
Hyde--"Well, I could ask you the same thing."
Hood--"well, it's pretty simple rerally, I...don;t actually know."
RED ALERT! RED ALERT! RED ALERT!
Hood--"Hey, I think there's a red alert."
Crocket--"What's that mean?"
Hyde--"Maybe we can crush something!"
Hood--"Yeah, like a monster, or..."
Door to headquarters flies open...  Strange, shadow walks in.  Hyde looks at it and wonders why he suddenly feels so bad.  Crocket looks at it and wonders if it's on their side or not.  Hood looks at it and wonders why Hyde hasn't killed it yet.
Hood--"I don't know, I'd say he looks like a Time Rider bad guy."
Crocket--"Who are you?  What do you want?"
Evil Thingy--"Order."
Hyde--"So, should I crush it or what?"
Crocket--"I can't move."
Hood--"Same."
Hyde--"What the...WHAT ARE YOU!?"
Evil Thingy--"No, what are you.  You all should not be here.  Unworthy hands meddling with the timeline have brought you here.  And you should have crushed the timeline.  However, it seems bringing you here has only created a duel you.  There is you in this time, and you in your original times.  You, Mr. Crocket, died at the Alamo."
Hyde looks over to see what Crocket will say.  But crocket isn't there.  He is GONE.
Hood--"WHAT THE $#@*& DID YOU JSUT DO TO HIM?!?"
Evil Thingy--"Your companion was a legend among men.  But he was just that, a man.  I created what you might call a paradox.  Speaking his death to him has exposed the fact that their are two of him, and as the result of a paradox, he is gone.  You two, won't be so easy though, you are legends, but not men.  You are not mortals, you are something more."
Hyde--"Why can't we move?!"
Evil Thingy--"I paralyzed you using a force unknown to humans.  But what good is knowledge to a beast like you?"
Hyde--"Do not forget that Dr. Jekkel is still within me."
Evil Thingy--"Despite both of you being immortal, you still do not belong here, in modern times.  It seems I'll have to kill you the old fashinoned way."
Hood--"Why?  What makes you think you're God?  You can't just kill people by your judgment.  Why should you decide, you some sort of demented Pagemaster wanna be?!?"
Evil Thingy--"The universe cannot function without rules."
Hood--"Well, that's a bull$#&* answer.  Hyde, you can break this buddy.  How ever it's got us pparalyzed here, you can beat it.  You can do it Hyde.  You can bring us back, but not if you're dead too.  You need to become Hyde.  You're just DR. Jekkal in Hyde's body now.  The real Hyde can break this!"
Hyde--"It  doesn't work like that!  It' not so simple! I--"
Evil Thingy--"Enough of this."
Hood--"You can do this Hyde, I know you can.  I believe in my heart you will save us.  Now tell that pansy Hyde to gt his @$$ out here!"
The Evil thingy walks up to robin and grabs him around the neck.  He is GONE.
Hyde--"You call that the old fashioned way?!?"
The evil thingy approaches Hyde.
Hyde--"You killed them.  Dr. Jekkal can't do nothin about that.  Guess I oughta ask Hyde."
Evil thingy grabs him around his neck.  He is...HYDE.
Evil--"Why aren't you GONE?!?"
Hyde--"HYDE DON'T LEAVE WITHOUT NO FIGHT.  HYDE AIN'T HAPPY.  YOU KILL HYDE'S FRIENDS.  HYDE DOESN'T HAVE A LOT OF FRIENDS.  YOU WANT HYDE TO HAVE NO FRINEDS?!?  HYDE KILL YOU!  HYDE KILL YOU!  HYDE...KILL...YOUUUU!!!"
Hyde grabs evil around its neck and starts to squeeze.
Evil-"You're crazy, you can't stop fate!"
Evil vanishes.  Hyde is alone, and his skin is smoking.
Hyde--(still in hyde body like always, but Jekkal's mind talks with him)"You did it Hyde, you did it!  Well done.  Now get your damn friends back."
To be coninued...

Cool, I like the characterization. I can't wait to read the next chapter. I like the references to the Alamo, that's something I'm going to be referring to later. There is a whole lot to work with on Crockett and how he relates to the modern world. Hyde is just the way he should be character wise. He's got an attitude.

CONCLUSION
Our hero Davy Crocket has awoken in white mist of sorts after reeling out of mental proportion in what he only remembers as a fateful twist of pain and light.  Everything is white.  And yet, despite the absolute whiteness he can see the mist at his feet, he feels a if he's in an elavator spiraling ever upwards at an increasing velocity.  Then suddenly, as if he was in a globe, light starts to bend around him in the form of great huge booming clouds set agains a bright blue endless sky flashing in front of him an unreal speed.
Davy thinks--Ok. white...place.  (then the clouds start to flash all around him as if he's way up in the sky)  I don't suppose my life's flashing before my eyes?  I did spend a lot of time...
But at that moment he's amazed further by what seem to be doves, or something of the bright, white sort flapping all around him.  as if in slow motion, but they're blurry and clear all at once.  far and close as of they were going through him, but out of reach.  he feels himself lift up off the ground but is quick to realize he was never standing.  He is experiencing the sensation so few in all time have.  He is caught in paradox.
But it's not a place, nor the end of the world as so many believe.  But it is a minor paradox, a major one may have worse effects.  No one knows.  He then realizes that the clouds are flapping, and becoming doves as they pass.  or whatever those white flapping things were.  but then when it seems they've gone out of sight, a cloud blooms in the never-ending pool of bright blue sky, with no apparent glare from the sun, or any sun at all for that matter.  then an immense pressure overwhelms him and he can't breathe, the once amzing clouds seem to be taunting now.  he's out of breath, he doesn't know why but he can't breath.  his mouth is open, he's sucking in the blue sky but nothing's happening.  he swings his head in desperation and stops struggling--he looks out on to an endless abyss of stars and space where billions of space years pass in front of him, stars exploding into supernovas and being reborn in seconds.

MEANWHILE at the ATTA headquarters, Hyde gathers his wits and starts to wonder how on earth he'll save a vanished legend and recover soemone who's been--
Hyde--"Paradoxed.  Crockett's been paradoxed and I don't even think that's a word.  As Dr. Jekell I've got some brains, but nothing as supernatural as whatever this was."
Robin--"I suppose you could always go back a couple minutes considering we're time travelers!"
Hyde--"You, how is it you?!?  You vanished in front of my eyes!"
Robin--"Well atleast it wasn't gory.  So you killed it then.  I suppose that released me, after all, I'm a legend and it would only make sense like that.  I was in a prison domain thingy for like five seconds then I was back in this room, so you worked fast, I'll give you that.  Getting a..."
Hyde--"..Paradoxed--"
Robin--"Ah, yes, paradoxed man back won't quite be so easy then will it?  Roght now would be a great time for a convenient plot device to walk in the room."
Hyde--"Seriously, I have no idea how to get him back.  No idea at all."

BACK IN THE PARADOX WITH DAVY
He feels death wrap its arms around him, but this is worse than death.  This is him ceasing to exist.  This is all wrong.  He utters out one last thoguht with his existence waning away.
Davy thinks to himself--Reckon this is worse then slavery--heh
When suddenly he hears a voice and hope rises with each word, though he doesn't know why, they're all that's keeping him concience as he keeps floating uttelry upwards into the stars and through the planets.
deep voice--"you know he didn't die at the alamo.  his companions pulled him forward in time as it fell.  just because he knows how he'll die, or rather might have died, doesn't make it a full paradox.  many a great mortals have known how they'll come to their end, it's just not a paradox.  i let the one you captured go and am setting this one back too.  break the rules again and i will punish you for it.  humility should be enough for now though, that monster feels that he was the one who vanished you.  you knew i was coming for you even as he grabbed you.  you don't make quick analysis when you're dealing with the supernatural, lest you forget.  you have the power to destroy worlds, use it wisely and only in accordance with the rules.  remeber our code."
The voice had that type of omnipresent sound to it, and suddenly Davy realized it was right in front of him.  thousands of constallations shifted as one towards him and said "YOU MAY GO."
Crocket looked around in awe,he was staring Hyde and Robin right in the face.
Robin--"well, that was easier than expected."
Hyde--"You OK?!  What happened!?"
Crocket felt oddly depressed as he bent over breathing hard with his hands on his knees.
Crockett--"I'm not sure you understand what we're dealing with."
At that moment an angry looking Time-Rider (THE Time-Rider) walks in.
TR--"Whatever you guys did, you're in it deep.  Look at next week's paper!"
He holds up a paper with the front page beaming "STARS SCRAMBKLED, NASA'S OUT OF ANSWERS."
TR--"Nothin' but some sort of paradox explains this at all! You better watch who you're messin with guys.  The thing is, we see the stars billions of years after what they're actually doing due to the speed of light.  But as far as NASA can tell, they actually just shifted.  Why can we see the change? Something supernatural.  Who's the only even remotely supernatural team around?!?  We are!"
Hyde--"When i killed that evil thingy it must have--"
Crockett--"No, Hyde....It wasn't you.  It was something...big.  Really big. TR's right, we're in deep.  We're in real deep."
Robin--"So what else is new?!?"
