Now things are getting intresting, from here on out it's nothing but action

Chapter 7; Encounter

Out on patrol, Ohm flies high above the streets looking for any sign of trouble. An alarm sounds, he stops and looks down, a simple jewelry theft, he sighs, wanting something bigger so he can really let loose. Little does he know he's about to get way more than he'd bargained for. He flies down right in front of the thief. 'You!' he yells in horror. By now, Ohm has been in the paper for a while and has been intercontinental news. At first, he got a bad rep by the press, but as soon as they noticed he did no harm, they were greatly appreciative. In an instant, Ohm zips past the thief grabbing the bag of jewels and placing back in the cases, then returns to tie up the thief. An explosion sounds in the distance as he tightens the knot. 'What the...' Ohm says as he flies up high and sees smoke rising up from behind the mountain range. He decides to check it out when another explosion takes place in Times Square. Ohm rushes to the scene, there, destroying the billboards, is a dark human shaped creature floating next to one of the billboards. He looks as if he's on fire--that's black; in fact his entire body is black. He turns around revealing no face except for two big glowing red eyes. His hair stands on end spiked and flowing as the black and dark purple power around him fluctuates. The spikes protruding from his body out of his elbows and knees giving him a dragon-like appearance.
Drake: I use to be known as Eddie, now I will call my self Drake. More appropriate don't you think Ohm?
Ohm: I'm pretty sure busting up billboards is illegal.
Drake: So sue me.
He lounges at a speed Ohm hadn't expected and punches him straight in the jaw, then, just as fast, in the gut. Spinning upside down he axe kicks Ohm on the back and he plummets to the ground hitting with a force that makes a crater. He slowly get's to his knees as Drake laughs. Crowds of people are fleeing the Times Square as the two superpowers stare.
Ohm: That's good. (A little too good he thinks) The first one is free; the second is going to cost you.
Drake: (Gently floating down) Oh please, just admit you never expected it.
Ohm: (He looks on not saying a word) Turn your self in, last chance.
Drake: Oooo, now I'm scared.
Ohm enters hyper speed and appears right behind Drake, he's surprised, but not entirely.
Ohm: Last chance. (His says firmly)
Drake: I'll take my chances.
As soon as Drake says his final word, he elbows behind him. No one is there. He looks around wildly. 'Where'd you go?!' He yells. No answer. Something catches Drakes eye at the other end of the street. A light, then it rapidly grows bigger heading straight for Drake not giving him enough time to dodge or deflect. The beam hits him straight on, and he's knocked back through a building. Ohm breathes heavily, he hasn't had to make a blast that big before and it took a lot out of him. Just then the wind picks up blowing against Ohm. A invisible force knocks him back a step, followed by a thicker darker force that crushes the bottom of the building along with denting every building in a 2 block radius from where Drake had landed. Ohm is knocked off his feet but gets right back up. Drake appears floating out of the building's second story with a look of "cheap shot" on his face.
Drake: You want a fight? You got one.
Ohm and Drake stare at each other for about 3 seconds waiting for one or the other to make a move. Then, in perfect synchronism, they yell and enter hyper speed heading straight for each other. They collide in a deafening explosion shattering all the glass from the surrounding skyscrapers. Ohm and Drake exchange a vast array of furious punches and kicks at high speed about 10 feet of the ground. Drake gets at sharp hit in and Ohm is knocked back, but he comes back with kick to Drake's gut. Then as suddenly as the fight started, they both back up and at the same time, Ohm fires his energy blast while Drake fires a beam of super dense dark matter. As the beams collide, light and dark lightning strikes every which way bending all the metal around them, and knocking out more than half of the remaining lights in Times Square. The beams cancel each other out, and the two stand on the ground panting, bruised, and cut. Drake knows Ohm is too strong for him to take on right now, they'll demolish each other.
Drake: Well Ohm I've gotta' admit, you're one hell of a fighter. This isn't over.
Drake then bursts into the black mist dissipates into the air. 'Damn' Ohm thinks as he looks around, 'He's good'. Ohm looks at the clock on the nearby screen and heads off back to his apartment. When he gets there he changes, washes up and goes to bed, unfortunately he can't sleep, he's too busy thinking about why someone as powerful as that was only trying to take out billboards? He decides it'd be better not to think about it right now, and turns off the light...
