This is freaky. Take a little bit of time to study these pics.

Batman and Robin
http://superherouniverse.com/art/data/510/batmanrobin.jpg

They are made by Julian Beever an English artist who's famous for his art on the pavement of England , France , Germany , USA , Australia and Belgium Beever gives to his drawings an amazing 3D illusion.

Spiderman

This is all done on a completely flat surface.

The trick is you have to see it from a certain angle. Here's an example.

wrong angle

right angle

The more you stare at these pics the weirder they look.

yeah someone showed me these recently, it's pretty awesome how the dude does that out of chalk.  i'd asked in class who was everyone's favorite superhero, and one person pulled that pic up.  spider-man won everyone's vote except for like 3 people.
someone had said green arrow and when asked why, they said "he helps people" and i was like, "what kind of hero does that?!!?"  my wit truly knows no end.

Oldie but a goodie post, just wondering if I bumped this one to the top what the comments might be from current regulars on the pics above.

I've seen some of these before on the net. I think the Spiderman one. Haven't seen the Earth one or Batman and Robin though.

Very talented artist to pull this off. Though looking at it from the wrong angle as you showed with the Earth makes the pictures look kind of blah.

He must have some real good perspective to do this.

I wonder if it would be quiet as tricky looking if you were there in person.
