So far it looks bad. The story seems awkward, the actors seem phony, and the costume just flat out sucks. I (and many others from the looks of it) say that they should have tried to hire the entire cast of Smallville. It's the perfect cast, and let's face it, Tom Welling is the new face of Superman for this decade. Can I get a second!? __________________ "You...complete me."

I say wait and see. All we've got so far is one picture of Superman and the basic outline of the story. Besides you never know. Smallville is my favorite show by the way. Have you seen the fantastic four? I thought it was a fun movie. __________________ Read Time-Rider

i really want to see it but i'm living overseas and the only movie we've EVER gotten on time is Star Wars 3. I'm gonna go see FF the 22nd. the first day it gets here, sadly enough. I agree about the movie, I liked the x-men movies so superman hopefully wont turn out too bad. but they should have if nothing else, used gene hackman, he was great in the old movies. and smallville does rock i got the first three seasons at garage sales and now i cANT wait for the 4th one. perhaps the best line in TV history is when Clark replies stubbornly,"People can't fly, Lex." i think that the creators of Smallville should start looking for a way to close out the show, it seems like they're pushing there luck a little to far.I mean, how long was Clark really in smallville before he became superman? and i found this scary picture on the web. i cant say anything till the movie relase. but the costum is .... oh man that not superman. but i like superman very much so i will wait till the film is going to fly.

I think the film will be Ok - Kevin Spacey has signed on to be Luthor and he is very choosey about his movies. I cant see it being all that bad...

yes Kevin Spacey will be good. Routh for Clark Kent is not bad,but for superman this is quiet problem for evrybody.but i love superman very much.so it will be great.

Big Dog why do so many people hate the third one so much? I know the fourth was definitely bad. It was like edited together in manner that was choppy and was actually boring. I never could figure out how it could come across so badly with Gene Hackman and of course Reeve returning, but it did. On the third one I really enjoyed the fight scene he had with his other self, and the going back to Smallville thing was cool. Of course to be completely honest the ending was a little bit of a let down. I wasn't too crazy about the super computer part of the story. __________________ Read Time-Rider

Maybe it was Robert Vaughn's character, and I think Richard Pryor had no buisness being in this movie, that isn't a knock on Pryor, it was weak in the script, and a little to cerebral for my likeing, of course, i won't delete them from my collection, I just don't watch them! and now for my knocking of Afleck!!!! (Daredevil wasn't a vicodin adict!)

Why does everybody hate the daredevil movie!? i thought the action was cool, the bad guys were great, so what's the deal, WHY DOES EVERYBODY HATE IT!? __________________ "You...complete me."

Well, I think Routh is a skinny Superman he needs to work out more... They said they chose him because he's not popular - looking back, Christopher Reeves wasn't popular before he was Superman... IMO, Tom Welling IS Superman ^^ BTW, I haven't seen the costume. Where can I see it?
