i am not exactly the biggest flash fan could some give me his origin story

Well Barry Allen got hit by lightning while inside a police laboratory. This knocked over a bunch of chemicals onto him and he somehow got superspeed. The same thing happens to Wally West and he becomes Kid Flash. Kid Flash then becomes the Flash once Barry Allen dies in the Crisis on Infinite Earths. I believe the the 1940's Flash Jay had pretty much the same origin as Barry if I'm not mistaken.

Howdy, the new guy here wave wave Your in luck! Theirs only two things I know best... getting into trouble and...THE FLASH! Jay Garrick was a collage student and was working in the lab. He spilled some chemcials and a sort of vapor forumed which he breathed. When he came too he had super speed. Barry Allen like Tim so well put it got hit by a lighting while working in the Police Lab. Wally West was Barry's girlfriends nephew and being stuck with Wally for the day Barry took him to his lab where lighting strucked him (guess lighting does strike twice ) It turns out that the checmicals unlocked something called the Speed Force which protects the Flashs from turining into pure engery and lets them breath as they run faster then a roadrunner in a twister... Bart Allen is Barry's great grandson if I'm not mistaken but the Allen Family mastered the Speed Force and passing super speed to their childern. OH! One more thing during Crisis on Infinite Earths it turns out that Barry went so fast to stop Anti-Monitor's weapon that he turned into the very lighting that gaved Barry his powers! hoped that helped ya --------------------------------- I'm the fastest thing their is, baby
