I have one question about the movies continuity.  Who Kills batmans parents??? Just before they were killed in batman begins I expected the hear a young joker say something about dancing in the moonlight with the devil.  Was that just creative liscence in the other movie or did batman begins make a goof??

I believe that Joker killing Batman's parents was Tim Burton's idea. It's not the original story in the comic books.http://superherouniverse.com/superheroes/images/fanart2/new/jacknicholson_small.jpg

Batman Begins isnt supposed to have any continuity with the other films, theyre avoiding the popular fiction driven "action" movies that the old series had become and (Thank God) basing the new series on the dark side of the comic, the way the old set of movies started out, hopefully they'll maintain it this time round.

In the Comics, Thomas and Martha Wayne were murdered by the gangster Joe Chill, it was gone over in the mini series "untold legends of the batman" circa 1978-79-80 (somewhere in there)

OKAY HERES HOW IT WENT
Joe Chill was just some desperate middle aged guy who needed some money,so he mugged and killed the waynes.

The whole thing about joker killing batmans parents was totally fabricated by tim burton to show some sort of connection between the joker and batman.

thanks, I found out recently something else that was interesting. Originally, in Bob Kane's comic book origin of Batman, the theatre where Batman's parents were killed was showing Zorro.
