I think that dude made me mad once. If I remember right, I think I asked him if he wanted to exchange links to my spiderman site and he said it was too commercial. Heck, I put spiderman merchandise links around the free content. It's got wallpaper, episode guides, message board, etc. I'm pretty sure it was that site.

I might have understood if he said my spideystore.com was too commercial, but hey it ain't nothing but a thing.

dude, who spends like a decade making a site like that, and then doesn't want to advertise it?! STUPID!? people have too much time on their hands

I think he was mad because I had affiliate links on the site to make money with. Some webmasters think you have a bad site if you put ads up, but who can keep creating web pages without making some money.

It's like Google penalyzes sites who have what they think is too many affiliate links up, but in reality it's all about controlling the advertising dollars.

yeah, you may as well make some cash for all the hours it takes to set these things up[smirk]

are you talking about the guy from spiderfan.org?
Posted:  14 Jun 2006 19:47
Yeah, I'm pretty sure he was the one that didn't want to exchange links with me.

When I first came out with my spiderman-web.com site I tried to get links with everybody that had a spiderman site.

Some people take themselves way too seriously nowadays. There's no down home friendly howdy there kind of feeling like you see on the Andy Griffith Show. Too bad the world isn't like that anymore.
Posted:  15 Jun 2006 03:39
andy griffith rocks. he is my favorite thing besides super heros (as ive probaly mention in the past.) i own a select few episodes on dvd but ill catch it on tv land when i can. hey tim another show i like is leave it to beaver. do you like it?
Posted:  15 Jun 2006 17:01

Yes I do like Leave it to Beaver. It's a good show. I don't like it as much as Andy Griffith, but it's always fun to watch the perfect 1950's family on TV.

It always aggravates me when people say they don't old shows like that because they aren't realistic enough. I like the idea of having a perfect model family placed in front of the American public. It gives people a good example of what a family can be. People fail to realize just because a set standard is difficult to obtain doesn't mean it isn't a worthwhile objective.

I never liked Rosanne or crap like that do the exact opposite and show us just how bad a family can be.

I also like the Wonder Years. I even liked that show Do Over on the WB which didn't last long because it reminded me of what it was like in the 80's.

Sorry superdude I haven't seen any spongebob episodes. My favorite cartoons are like superheroes and Bugs Bunny. Pinky and the Brain was good too, but I just haven't caught spongebob for some reason. My kid used to like to watch it. I did see a couple of episodes he was watching of I think it was the fairly odd parents or something with a Arnold want a be. That seemed funny.

i hate rossanne too, that was SUCKY
and that reminds me of this one episode in batman the animated series (gotham knights sequel series)
bruce wayne calls up barbara gordon (currently batgirl) and asks for the scoop on the lates bad guy. he follows up by saying "so what are we doing tonight!?" in a serious tone
barbara replies "the same thing we do every night pinky"
after an awkward silence she says nevermind.
it took m a minute, but then i got it, and i thought it was pretty funny, even though i cant remmember much about that pinky brain show, i did remember the clever last line and thought it extremely funny that a kids cartoon would stick in a suttle pun like that.

That sounds familiar. I think I remember laughing at that. I like it when serious characters like Batman have a little fun poked at them.

Speaking of Pinky and the Brain, did you know they actually had an episode that featured the destruction of Krypton and when Superman made it to earth the Brain tried to use him to take over the world. Eventually he had to take him back to the field where the Kents found him.
