The movie just plain rocks. I've read some negative reviews over at yahoo and the general sense I get is that if you are one of these guys that sleeps with X-men pillows and and blankets and wakes up to a X-men alarm clock you might be disapointed.
But honestly I don't think the super extreme x fans could ever be satisfied. It's strange how that works out, but I think the average fan will be quite satisfied.
It's a guy movie that's for sure. Sure my wife enjoyed it and all, but I could hear the guys in the audience responding to the movie. It's all about action. Heck after seeing it I wanted to go to a gym and pump some iron while my testerone level was high. A sissy super thoughtful flick it ain't, but it's not stupid by any means. It's very intelligent and well thought out. Only one time did I pause and that was when the scene changed so quickly from daylight to dark. Seemed to cut too fast. Other than that it was smooth from beginning to end.
So far I've heard the movie has made more money on a Friday than any other movie to date.
