everyone either loves or hates venom.I dont realy want him in a spidey movie but i will not mind if he is.But i say give him his own movie if you want him done right.

na, either way spider-man has to be in it. the alien adapts spider-mans abilities while on him. remember Sipder-Man had the black suit be for Addy Brock did.

im sorry omnimon but if you refer to tha animated series "The Amazing spiderman - the venom saga" you will note that the suit infested j jonah jamesons son before it went to spiderman so in the big sceme of things he should be the character that venom "BELONGS" to in the movie as he was the original, so to speak. --------------------------- but as far as the movie goes i think it would be a shame to take venom and carange out of the spiderman movies as they are a fundimental part of the comic book storyline and so far they have stuck to that pretty well, (exept for the organic web shooter incedent) and i would like it if their loyalty to the comic book story stayed that way but i think they will be in it as with at the end of spiderman 2 you could see j. jonahs son preparing to leave on his space mission... well that is the lead up, he brings the symbiote back with him on the ship.[img]e:/derek/My Pictures/backdrops/all/@venom.jpeg[/img]

Gotta have Venom and Carnage in a Spidey movie first, then have the spinoff. Those movies would be huge.

doesnt Carnage come way after. i think if they were to put Carnage in there it should be in Spider-Man4 or something, leaves it open for more movies, plus the venom sybiot needs to reproduce/spawn to make Carnage. as for the web shooters i agree, they should have went all the way with the charactor.

To do Venom there would have to be some major plot line changes. The cartoon series for instance made some big changes from the comic book. Originally in the comic books, the symbiote black suit Spiderman had came from the Secret Wars mini series. After Spiderman wore it for a while he discovered it was taking him over. He got rid of it using the loud noises from a bell tower. After that of course Eddie Brock got the suite and became Venom.

In the current comics, Spider-man recently gained organic web shooters, so really, the movies are correct in that respect. Venom in the movies would either be amazing or completely crap, I think it depends on the actor and the visual design
