Today I saw The Book of Eli. I know of late there's been quite a few post-apocalyptic movies popping up, The Road for one. I wasn't sure what I was going to see but as it turned out it wasn't bad at all. It's a Western film at it's core. A great cast too, Aside from Denzil Washington and Tom Wait's virtually everyone else is British playing American. In fact most you'll recognise as teaching staff of Hogwarts (I think they were better value for money due to all the FX works needed )Gary Oldham is a great villian as always. Warning: Cat lovers beware!!

I love apocalyptic type stories usually, but mostly when they delve into what caused the calamity. I'm probably going to rent this one. Thinking about getting netflix anyway so I'll probably have that service by the time this one comes out on DVD. Denzel Washington is a good actor.
