when choosing colors of links on pages, there's 3 to look at.
the link's color itself on the page, which blue would work well.
link's hover, or what the link looks like when your cursor is over it. some people chang the color, other just make it underlined, or bold or any combination. for the site, I would recommend a somewhat lighter version of blue, not cyan, but lighter then what you've got.
the last is clicked. this is when you've vistited the particular link recently. for thise and for most basically colored sites, I would recommend what you had before, a darker purple, not so dark that you can't tell the difference but different.
if you need to find the html for these colors, just type in "HTML color codes" in a search engine and one of the links should give you a good variety.
