With the main gallery preview section of the main page having only 9 slots, how about voluntarily limiting uploads to only 5 images per day? This will allow other images the chance to be featured for at least a short time instead of possibly being bumped by 9 uploads by one person all at once? This is only a suggestion, but I think it's a fair request. Everyone should have the benefit of having their images featured in the "Recent Images" section. Any thoughts?
