This week the new movie Angels and Demons pushed Star Trek to number two barely. Trek made another $43,000,000 over the weekend which is excellent for a movie's second week this days. In contrast Wolverine had slipped to $26,408,288 in it's second week.

Wolverine pulled in another $14,800,000 in it's third weekend bringing it's total to $151,091,000 which is just a few million over Star Trek's new total, $147,611,000.

Wolverine should definitely be considered a hit, and will probably hang out at the box office for a while, but it looks like Star Trek may hang out there most if not all of the summer.

Next weekend Terminator!

ya gotta give credit to wolverine, cuz the movie was ripped on the internet which caused a lot of people to see it at home than the movies!! so..... if it had not been leaked who knows how big it would have been!!!!!!!

Wolverine is awesome! I'm thinking Star Trek is going to make more at the box office though. I hope Terminator does good. I hope it is good, I'm wanting to see it this weekend.

Finally got to see Star Trek yesterday. Thought it was a blast. Loved all the character banter and nods and winks of classic Trek, plus even the fight scenes and camera angles had a subtle retro feel.

They had the Transformers 2 trailer showing. How many explosions can one film fit into a trailer. No plot teasers just big huge firey explosions.

Yeah, I know I think the Transformers will be fun, but there really isn't a good indication of what the story is about from the trailer.
