BIG BLUE in ‘Q & A’.  Epilogue
Character Created by Neo Gonzales   Story by Wayne Clayton

With the main hatch closed Vinnie found him self alone in the cold dark corridor. He stood silent as he sort to compose himself. And for one brief moment he let the facade of the General slip. Seeing Blue after all those years brought back all the memories, the hopes and fears of two young men looking for adventure and to serve their country.

It brought back to all the pain and the suffering they had gone through behind those closed doors beneath the cold waters of the Black Lake. But most of all it brought back the guilt. A guilt which he though he had buried long ago within the sands of Bikini and under the guise of duty. But now that duty was to bring him back face to face with his past. He only hoped Blue would forgive Vinnie for what he did in the past and for what duty demanded General Layton to do to Big Blue in the future.

Poor old guy having to live with the guilt

At least now that I see your image I know he's a two star general which means Vanguard will have to be only a one star.

I half figured Layton for a 4 star seeing as he's been in for ever. But maybe that's because he didn't play all the political games that he should have to get those other 2 stars?

“Well Vinnie you know I’ve got a couple of A-Bombs right here”

your storytelling is awesome man!!! i like that theirs more than one blue creature!!!! this is gonna be great. when i made blue i wanted to make him crazy powerfull! then i thought maybe i made him too strong, but if it takes an a-bomb to stop these things he fits perfectly!!

If I had done some research he may have been a 4 star General but then again he was a Maverick Man and so he's likely due to the nature of his activities to never have been rewarded openly for his service.

Tricks I knew you'd like that line

Well stay tuned because you may well be seeing him in action pretty soon in the next installment.
