Who is going to see Star Trek this weekend? I'm looking forward to it. I haven't been this excited about a Star Trek movie since Star Trek 4 where they time traveled to the present. I think that was the last great movie.
I was excited to see the one where Captain Kirk dies, but after I saw how he died well I'm still mad about that. Lame lame lame. That was the first one to showcase the next generation.
I think this new one is going to be good. For one I bet the amount spent on special effects is going to be an heck of a lot more than the last few Treks.
You just can't get any better than the original cast of characters, Kirk, Spock, McCoy, etc. So I guess it hangs on the new actors and their ability to bring the aspects of our old favorites to life once more. If they fail, phasers should be set to stun....not.....kill...Kirk out....
I still wish William Shatner was in there somewhere.
