I know for a fact I'll be seeing Star Trek, but other than that one I'll probably see Wolverine, Watchmen, Transformers, Wolfman, and GI Joe. Land of the Lost sounds like it might be good too. May have to see that one. Doesn't seem like there are as many comic book movies out as their was last year.

I will see Star Trek, Terminator, and Wolverine most likely at the theater the rest depends on my wallet and the mood I'm in.
Land of the Lost and the Watchmen are probable on the go see in the theater list, but I'll have to wait and see for sure on the Land of the Lost. Depends on if it's just done for comedy only. I don't want to see something that just is completely retarded.

I just reread the description of Land of the Lost. It does sound kind of silly.
I like monster movies--especially werewolves--so I'll definately have to check out the Wolfman. The only thing I don't like about those films, is that the monster always gets killed in the end. I always feel sorry for the werewolf.

I really really want the Land of the Lost to be good if at all possible. The choice of Will Ferrell makes it sound like SNL scit, and that scares me. Taken seriously there is a lot of good material here.
Don't get me wrong I'm not opposed to have light hearted moments in the film. I think that would be great, but if they treat it like a common Will Ferrel movie it will be crap.

i agree completely tim, i despise the typical will ferrell garbage. i am interested in the downey jr. as sherlock holmes role though, i think he could bring a lot to that. guy ritchie (snitch, rock n rolla) is kind of an odd choice to direct though. i think.
and how about 'taken' starring liam neeson (qui gon jin, ra's al ghul). that looks awesome. __________________"You...complete me."

liam neeson is a great actor. I remember when I first saw him on the third season opener for Miami Vice. At the end he got shot and fell off a high rise building. Ouch that hurt.

He did the voice of the Lion in Chronicles of Narnia too. And of course probably my favorite was Batman Begins. He's responsible for training the Batman.

did anyone see the director's cut of daredevil?
it's about half an hour longer due to a subplot that was mediocre. also, instead of having matt stay on the roof and eventually sleep with elektra he eaves and fights the bad guys. he then gets the invitation to the party from receptionist, karen page (i think page is her last name in the comics).
ultimately i like the theatrical version better, because the director's cut is mostly unecessary fluff that just slows the movies pace to a near crawl. unfortunately the blu-ray doesn't contain the theatrical cut. no biggie though, i could always fast forward through the fluff. __________________"You...complete me."

I think a Blu-ray ought to have both. Haven't seen the director's cut.

i do too, the driector's cut was almost a different film. most blu-rays will give you both, bu ultimately they out on what is considered the definitive edition. for instance, all the new movies have the special features of their two disc dvd counterparts. __________________"You...complete me."

I think they should put everything they got out on a DVD to start with. Features, director's cut, you name it. Lately some DVDs have been getting skimpy on special features.
