I thought I'd throw a few prose into the air concerning Big Blue. Tell me what you think?

Codename : ‘BIG BLUE’

1945 was a hell of a year. The war had given birth to the biggest scientific break through since  man struck two pieces of flint together to create a spark. How long was it before he burned down his enemies house with that knowledge?

For us our spark lay waste to whole cities within a blink of an eye. But still it was not enough. As an army man my job was to turn ordinary men into soldiers, loaded weapons to point at the enemy and fire without question. But Big Blue was different. Instead of a loaded gun we were tasked to turn a man into the bullet in the chamber. Ready to be struck and ignited, to explode on command. Not merely a one shot Kamikaze, but a bomb which could be reused time and time again.

After all these years I wonder if what we did was right. With Fat Man and Little Boy we created weapons which the whole world saw as the start of a new era. We were shouting from the roof tops telling them to beware our might. These were weapons to stop wars even starting. But compared to Big Blue, Fat Man and Little Boy were mere toys. How deadly must a weapon be that even it’s creators deny it ever existed.

I only speak of it now because I am one of the few of those who knew the truth for what we did. And because the time has come to reload the bullet into the chamber. Cock the hammer, and wait for the clear shot. God have mercy on our souls.

Taken from the files of General V. Layton.

I like that. Sounds exactly like a intro for the front of a comic story. With that short paragraph you've basically sold the story.

I like it!

Cheers. It helps to re-read what you've written in the style of a Movie Trailer voice over, or your best Morgan Freeman voice

How do you guys get the panels in the comics you do? Is it a specific program or something? Just curious I thought about hand drawing an issue of Night Hawks to submit to Tim just so that I can get the story out there and wanted to make sure the panels came out right.

I use photoshop. I copy my image and paste it onto the page, and the use the effects option to add a shadow behind it effectively creating a line around the boxed image.
