the new trailer is before james bond, and i have to say, i was seriously pumped after seeing this trasiler. instead of just another pointless endeavor by the kids of the kids of the kids of the original enterprise crew, they're going back to the original classic characters and showing the transition fom modern day to star trek era. sylar looks perfect as spok, and they got a will shatner look a like who also looks cool. it's completely retro, completely geeky, and yet it looks awesome. i love how they're running with the classic costumes and colors rather than putting them in black leather or some other lame update. it's like how transformers handled what could have been a cheese-fest. at first i thought it was the gi joe trailer but was relieved to see it wasn't my favorite toy line looking like spok.
two thumbs up for this trailer, it probably takes second place behind the watchmen trailer for awesomeness this year.
just so original looking even though it sticks to the old costumes and design. it's like if star trek were created last year.
i don't think the new trialer is online yet, but once i see it i'll post it.
