this is a great book which everyone should read (or listen to on cd). and it's just been adapted into a marvel mini series (which will probably have a few more sequel minis). i read and liked the first issue, good art, and orson scott card (writer of ultimate iron man and ender's game) is overseeing the adaptation as the "creative executive" or something like that. i highly recommend cheking this out (hopefully it will remain as true to the source material as the first issue did) wether by buying the issues as they come out, or getting the trade later. the only change i noticed so far was instead of being called "buggers" the evil aliens are called "formics." this is probably to help cut down on explaining later in the series.
