as i explained in my batman RIP post, grant morrison is at the helms of this DC event.  so far it ha confused me, lost me, bored me, and only on seldom occasion intrigued me with a moment of good characterization.
i think this is gonna be one of those books only the most well read of DC obsessors will get.  there's tons of references, deaths, comebacks, etc. but most of them mean nothing to the casual DC fan like myslef.  either that or you just flat our don't understand them. anyone know what's going on in this series?  it's been up, around, and everywhere, and it's already over half over.  i just got issue number four and i'm waiting for everything to come together and make sense as I am with batman RIP.  anyone know what's going on?  anyone read it?

I'm liking the legion mini series with Superman prime but the main final crisis book is pretty confusing. It's all over the place. To be honest I don't know what's going on or what the point is. I'm not even sure I'd understand if I went back and reread what I've got so far either.

Either I'm getting dumb in my old age, or there is no plot just a lot characters and art thrown in a blender.

that;s what i think.  i just read issue four, and it's like each issue there's new chracters in a new setting with a new dilemma.  i'm completely lost.
there's just too many characters and too many subplots.  issue four was very boring for me, it was tough to get through it.  i'm not sure doing two events at once (RIP and FC) is helping any.

I wonder if they were trying to copy Heroes' way of telling a story? I meant to check and see if the Flash's book paid more attention to Barry Allen's return. I forgot to check it out the last time I was at the comic shop.

That's really all that even remotely grabs my attention. The last crisis series was so good too.
