Who is your favorite Batman? Notice I didn't say who is the best Batman. I think people sometimes feel they have to automatically say Christian Bale or even Michael Keaton to be hip or whatever. I want to know who is everyone's actual favorite. If it's Christian Bale I certainly wouldn't be surprised.

Adam West is my favorite. Why? Not because he is the greatest actor of all time, but because in my mind he will always be Batman. I grew up watching him on reruns. He's the real Batman. The other Batmen are just more serious takes on the original. Factually wrong I know based on the original comics, but that's the way it is for me.

2.Val Kilmer - I thought he did the best performance on Batman Forever followed by Chris O'Donnell's Robin He was Bob Kane's favorite Batman, and he created Batman.

3.
Christian Bale and Michael Keaton - I go back and forth with these two. Both very good at playing a darker Batman. http://superherouniverse.com/images/darkknightreview.jpg

4.Lewis Wilson - Who? The guy that played Batman in the 40's Batman movie serial Even he had a better costume than George Clooney's nipple costume.

5.George Clooney

christiasn bale by far.  best lines, i like his bat-voice, and he plays a hilarious cocky bruce.  also he actually gets buff for the role.

So you aren't a George Clooney fan?

My fav is Christian Bale with Michael Keaton holding the number 2 spot and Adam West rounding out my top 3.

I like the dark more serious Batman but I still think Adam West did great as a more fun version. And of course I love it everytime he is in an episode of Family Guy, he's hilarious. I even liked the episode of the Simpson's he was in where he drove around in the Batmobile using it as his normal car which backfired b/c it was so old.

adam is probably my #2 because he is the opposite of bale's batman, but i respect what it did for the growth of the character and i enjoyed batman: the movie.

i'm not a big keaton fan and i'm lighter on clooney and kilmer than most.  yes, i get that those movies made the villains all the sam basic character and were cheesy and goofy, but for young children's entertainment, i think they pass.

wait, kevin conroy (batman the animated series) is my second fav.  he did tons for the character in terms of bringing him into the new era of darkness. (tee hee, era of darkness?)

I thought about listing Kevin Conroy, but thought I'd just list the ones that wore the Bat suit. Conroy definitely has the voice down and the personality right for Batman. No doubt about it.

You missed my favorite, Keaton. http://dailypop.files.wordpress.com/2008/11/batman-returns.jpg

I'd have to go for Adam West simply because he was part of my childhood. Plus I doubt if there would of been any movies without the 60's TV show.
Always thought Keaton was a little to out of shape to play Bats no matter how dark he was.

Adam West made superheroes fun.

I wish Kilmer had done more than one Batman movie.
