This is just a brief timeline of the story so far. It's just a quick description of each issue and the main points that took place.
Issue # 1
Police Chief John Dark Sr. is murdered; his son John Jr. takes up his own investigation when the police turn up no leads.
Issue # 2
John Jr. becomes the vigilante known as Midnight and takes his vengeance out on the criminal community all the while continuing his search for his father's killer.
Issue # 3
Midnight gets his first real lead and follows it to the manor of mob boss Franklin Harrier. He manages to get caught but the police arrive allowing him to escape.
Issue # 4
Melanie Neidich fights dinosaurs in the apocalyptic future of 2388. During an attempt to locate other human survivors she is transported into her past to present day Wayward City, NJ.
Issue # 5
Hercules Cole the electrical hero known as Voltage encounters Melanie as she arrives in 2008. The two join forces and she becomes known as Bombshell. Shortly after the two encounter the pyrokinetic villainous Firefox and put a stop to her arsonist rampage.
Issue # 6
Midnight tracks down his father’s killer, mafia hit-man Dark Eagle, to Wayward City, NJ. During their encounter Midnight is shot in the stomach point blank and falls off a roof into a dumpster. Meanwhile Voltage and Bombshell scour the city searching for him.
Issue # 7
Mafia enforcer Kremlin ties Midnight up in a sewer while he and Dark Eagle search the city for a powerful artifact that Franklin Harrier wants. They encounter Bombshell and Voltage when they find the artifact. Dark Eagle escapes while Kremlin takes on the heroes. Nearby security guard Orion Smith hears the commotion and investigates only to get his hands on the powerful crimson shield and become a new hero. The trio takes down Kremlin while Dark Eagle confronts a wounded Midnight. Voltage, Bombshell, and the Crimson Shield rescue Midnight and neutralize Dark Eagle.
Issue # 8
Midnight gives up being a vigilante. Voltage, Bombshell, and Crimson Shield found the Superhuman Defense League. Meanwhile ninja master Shadou and his apprentice Ghost Ninja take on the Shadow Dragon Clan. The resulting battle ends in Shadou’s death and Ghost Ninja being transported through chi power to Wayward City where she encounters the Superhuman Defense League.
Issue # 9
Famed archeologist Luther Vanguard finds the lost temple of Cadamar and retrieves one of the nine fabled power swords. The sword gives him the power to become winged hero Harbinger. He sets off on the trail of the remaining eight swords.
Issue # 10
Harbinger tracks one of the power swords to the hands of the enforcer Kremlin who had acquired it to make amends for losing the power shield. A battle between the two ensues and the Superhuman Defense League has to step in and lend a hand. Kremlin escapes.
Issue # 11
Terrorist organization HARM takes the president hostage in the White House. The SDL intervenes and battles Gunslinger, Jade Samurai and Powerhouse. They manage to rescue the president but at the expense of letting the villains escape.
Issue # 12
Midnight and his friend Mark return to Wayward City to help the SDL locate HARM. They track them down and do battle with the villains again. And again the three leaders escape.
Issue # 13
HARM leader Gunslinger assaults the SDL’s headquarters while the rest of his crew keeps the heroes busy in D.C. Jade Samurai and Powerhouse are neutralized. Jade Samurai’s sword was none other than one of the power swords Harbinger sought, now he only has seven more to find. Mark makes a suit of armor out of spare parts and holds Gunslinger off until backup arrives. The team finally puts an end to his terror and he is locked up in a new Superhuman Detention Facility located on an Atlantic Island east of Rhode Island. Harbinger leaves the group to pursue the other swords while Ghost Ninja leaves to get revenge on the Shadow Dragon Clan for the death of her mentor. Midnight and Mark now called Mainframe join the League.
Ghost Ninja 1-Shot
Ghost Ninja infiltrates the Shadow Dragon Clan and kills Kokushibyou and clan leader Ichiko Shi. Ghost Ninja acquires one of the power swords from Ichiko and plans on turning it over to Harbinger. Sun Wukong escapes and sets his sites on taking over China.
Issue # 14
The Gorgon Cult attacks Saint Katherine’s Bay where they are met with resistance in the form of Midnight. There is a breakout at the Superhuman Detention Facility and Crimson Shield goes in search of the inmates. Bombshell is busy on the west coast saving civilians from a natural disaster leaving only Voltage to come to Midnight’s aid. Midnight takes down the one known as Vyper and retrieves from him one of the Cadamarian power swords. The two heroes are then neutralized by Queen Medusa and her cronies. Mainframe comes to their aid and defeats Lady Hydra and takes from her another Cadamarian power sword, he uses it to take down the Gorgon’s while Queen Medusa and her lieutenants escape.
Harbinger 1-Shot
The winged hero tracks Kremlin down to a small Russian village. Using the power of two Cadamarian swords he attacks the mafia enforcer. The battle devastates the village, just when Harbinger is about to finish the battle a mysterious stranger shoots him with an acidic bullet that weakens him enough to allow Kremlin to gain the upper hand. The stranger disappears into the shadows while Harbinger slowly regains his strength. Harbinger then executes Kremlin and acquires a third power sword.
Issue # 15
Midnight is taken to the hospital in order to better treat him for the coma he was left in. Voltage is declared dead. Gorgon Queen Medusa forces her lieutenants Vyper, Hydra, and Black Adder to fight to the death on a remote island to redeem themselves for their failure in Saint Katherine’s Bay. Black Adder emerges victorious securing her place by Medusa’s side. The heroes hold a funeral for Voltage and other superhumans from around the globe attend. All the while the mysterious stranger who aided Kremlin against Harbinger stands back and watches as his plans to unravel the League fall neatly into place.

wonder how well a Bombshell movie would be received? Man now I'm going to have to write a script just to see if it pans out.
