I'm feverishly working on the next Time-Rider story issue 19. First half is going to be going back over the entire story so far. This story will hopefully tie everything together and create a nice ending point. Not saying there won't be another Time-Rider story in the future, but if I never make another one, this story is a good place to end.

The end story has been kicking around my head for a long time. I hope you all enjoy it once I get it finished. Could be up in the next week or sooner.

Looking forward to reading it Tim

Question when can we expect the next Deadlaw? No rush just curious.

Following RoL?

I'm finishing up RoL too, at least the current story line.  I'll be doing background issues for the next year or so, then maybe bring 'em back to gether again.

can I count on TR to be in more of RoL?

Tim,

You won't kill me if I do a recap of my series as well before starting the next issue will you?

Sure.

No, I've always liked recaps. It helps to keep the main points of the story fresh.

Here's one panel I've been working on.

Read it now! Let me know what you all think. Whether or not more adventures occur in the future may depend on reader response.

I hope you all enjoy it. It was fun to work on.

It was good. I liked the recap, I wasn't expecting the person Time-Rider ended up fighting though. Would say more about what I thought but don't want to give it away for the others who have yet to read it.

One question whatever happened to Seven?

All in all let me just end with Excellent Job overall

Thanks Midnight, I haven't forgotten Seven, I plan on using him later on if an when I work on my next story. Right now I've been kicking around a story with Deadlaw and Seven in my mind.

Let them show conflicting ideas about how to tackle crime. Deadlaw will be the one with the most violent methods of course.

can't wait to read it!

I read it and I thought it was pretty good, Tim. It was the first one of those I read. I especillay liked that panel that shows him in front of the American flag. The stuff that happened in the recap has convinced me to go back and read the very first one, too.

Thanks, just keep in mind I'm a amateur, but I hope I'm getting better with time.

So am I. I just started becoming a writer a few years back. i wrote a novel and a few short stories. I want to get published, but my stuff needs work, I know.
Posted:  26 Aug 2008 14:23
It's frustrating trying to get somewhere in the comics or writing business in general. Everything takes time I guess.
Posted:  26 Aug 2008 23:28
For novels anyway, it takes several years to get it at that point where its ready for publication.

Most of the stuff i write isnt comic books or superhero-related, what I write is usually science fiction or fantasy.

Years! Oh boy that's rough.
Posted:  28 Aug 2008 02:31
Yeah.

I think I'm going to post one of my short stories on this site and see what everyone thinks.

You can take T. Rider off, but not kill him...that's for sure.
Posted:  29 Aug 2008 16:57
No killing the Time-Rider.

So is it really over?
Posted:  30 Aug 2008 15:36
Yes and no. I made the story a place where I could stop, but there's nothing there really to keep me from starting all over again.

Since John Martin still retains memory of his past experiences, he could still retain some time traveling abilities or who knows what else could happen.

I've been kicking around a bunch of other ideas too I want to work on someday like a hero wearing a leather jacket with a name like Johnny Rebel or something like that. Make him reflect a 50's rebel Fonzie type only with powers.

Then I've also kicked around a idea of a goofy teenage hero with powers. Maybe call him something silly like Major Awesome or something. It's fun to day dream about ideas.

So basiclly you're just ending it, and starting with a new fresh peice of paper? After you've called off T. Rider?

Hey, how about making some other guy pick up the mantle and become the new Time-Rider?

Well yes and no. I think you can consider John Martin still active only I just haven't created the story that brings him back into action yet.

Right now he's finishing off World War 2 as a sailor. I'm not sure where exactly in his lifetime I might pick up the action again. Might be the 1950's, or it might involve the war again. Don't know yet. Lots of possibilities.

My biggest deal right now is how long it takes to make one story, and there are a lot of other characters I like to pen down.

I hadn't thought of that, but I guess I could.

Whatever I do I want to take the story a little more slowly and focus on character development while still putting in a lot of action if that's possible.

I'm also thinking of a story with my character Seven fighting off Goliath in the middle of a modern city. Just an excuse to create a big fight scene with lots of destruction.

Got it.

Mass mayhem, ungoverned destruction, etc. - all in a day's work for a good comics story, eh Tim!!
