If there is an Avengers movie, who should be in the Avengers lineup.

... you serious?

I think the team members of the avengers should play their respective roles in the avengers movie.

..but I'm really ust throwin that out there.

Well there are like a million different Avengers to choose from if you go back through all the issues since the 60's. Maybe that's what dude is talking about.

I'm not wanting any old second stringers nobody has hardly heard of though like say the 80's Captain Marvel.

Back then, I was confused enough as it was with a Captain Marvel over at DC I watched on TV, and one not related at all at Marvel Comics that was supposed to be dead, only to have this new Captain Marvel come on the scene. Don't even throw in the old Ms Marvel to really confuse the issue.

I know I'm rambling. but imagine the movie goers introduced to a Captain Marvel they never heard of who is now known as Pulsar.

well, for big screening movie, it's pretty safe to say the members will be Captain America, Giant Man, Wasp, Nick Fury, Black Widow, Thor, Iron Man, and Hulk (or Banner).

Probably so. Yeah, they'll use the original members most likely.

The founding members were Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Rick Jones, Ant-Man, and Wasp. Captain America came after Hulk left. We know Cap, Thor, Iron Man, Hulk and one more Avenger have been confirmed in the movie so far.

Cap came like issue 4. So I'd consider him pretty much a founding member.

I read that comic. Its a landmark issue. I'd like to see that same story in the movie. If the FF won't get a chance to fight the Sub-Mariner in their own film, then maybe the Avengers will.
