MT, one of the premiere artists of our time passed away on the 27th. he died aof a cancer dealing with bones/cartilage that he's been fighting for a long time. his variant cover for civil war #7 recently got 2nd place in marvel's cover of the year contest. the whole thing is shocking for me because he was only 37 and he was still doing great work. very little has his death been publicized though, I only found out on marvel.com. his work: 2nd place cover: __________________ "You...complete me."

That's sad. I didn't know he was sick. I loved to see his work on Superman and Batman. He was a great artist.
