At first I guess I wasn't quite that excited over this flick before I saw it that is. After watching it on DVD I can say that it's actually a great flick for families especially. Now of course if you are opposed to funny animal movies then skip this one by all means, but if you like light hearted good natured humor, lots of special effects, and flying dogs then this movie is for you.
Funniest human in this movie has to go to Patrick Warburton who is no stranger to superheroes. He's played the Tick on TV for one short season, and also done the voice of Superman for the very famous Jerry Seinfeld meets Superman TV commercials. Here he plays Cad a really really stupid henchman who talks to himself, loves his bad hair, and tries to constantly improve himself by learning new words.
There's more special effects in this movie than Superman Returns. Nothing you haven't seen before, well except it's a dog doing the super power instead of a human, but it's very fast paced. Got kids then this movie is for you. Want serious superhero action like Batman Begins then skip it. Personally, I like both kinds of superhero action and fun.
