You know I was watching Ghost Rider again on Saturday, and I picked up on something I didn't notice before. I'm sure everybody picked up on the creepy bad guy at the end that called himself legion as being a reference to an instance in the New Testament.

But there was one scene that caught my attention this time. When Johnny Blaze's dad tells him to take his motorcycle with him named Grace. Somehow I think there's a metaphor in there somewhere. It's like Ghost Rider's soul was doomed, but he took Grace with him so by the end of the movie he turns his life around for good. Like the good book says, "By Grace Are Ye Saved" What do you think? Am I on to something here?

It's always a possibility, Ghost Rider was supposed to be a more (ironically enough) a more religious comic.

Anyways I found some artwork that's amazing, felt like sharing it:

That's some pretty awesome stuff.

I really liked the Texas Ranger legend angle of the movie too.

No problem, Mysterio, and welcome aboard. When you get a chance take a look at my Time-Rider comic

It is good to have another Christian brother on the board. I've been kicking around a idea for a Christian superhero character.

Still a lot of work to do before I can turn the idea into a story for the site though.

I took a look at Time Rider and he looks super awesome. It would be cool if Time Rider and Ghost rider did a cross over. It would be like the battle of the riders and that would be awesome.

Don't pretty much all comics that deal with themes such like hell/heaven/afterlife deal with spiritual elements also?

In fact aren't the current Ghost Rider comics literally dealing with Heaven?

Heaven? From the movie it sounded a lot more like the other place.

I know but in the new comics (I'm not completely educated on them.) But from what I've read they retconned and made Ghost Rider a creature of Heaven.

Hmm, have to catch up on Ghost Rider. Most of the stuff I read lately is from the 50 cent boxes.
