Thank you Tim, I was always an admirer of Super Heroes, as well as full figured women. As a teen I was a graffiti artist, so many artists did the exactly what everyone else was doing, not enough of them ventured to create their own style. I needed something to set me aside from my peers.
This was it. No one drew big girls. Artists would look at my book, some made sharp comments because of the content, but most would recognize the uniqueness and appreciate the execution. I stuck with it, it later evolved to art that speaks positively for the plus size community.
