Cat Lord
Raphael Lourdes was born with incredible reflexes and enhanced strength that manifested itself in his teens. He also noted a certain connection to animals, especially wild felines. During trips to the zoo, Raphael would spend hours fixated with the cats. In time some type of telepathy blossomed and allowed him rudimentary communication with the felines. Always an adrenaline junkie, Raphael soon grew bored of motocross and base jumping. After inadvertently foiling a robbery at a gas station, something switched in his attitude. Realizing he had powers that set him apart from other, Raphael set his sights on new thrills in the world of superheroes. His lifelong fascination with felines and his similar traits seemed an obvious focus for his new persona. Thus Cat Lord was born. Honing his skills in the streets of Chicago, Raphael then made the leap to New York where he established himself as a recognizable mid-level hero.
