Victor Von Doom had everything a man could want- wealth, power, and dashing good looks. In an egotistical effort to humiliate longtime rival Reed Richards, Von Doom funded Reed's exploratory space mission but insisted he go along for the ride. Unfortunately the ship was struck by a destructive cosmic wave that altered Von Doom, turning his skin into steel, granting him superhuman strength, and giving him the ability to discharge lethal electric blasts. Now Doctor Doom has sworn revenge against Reed and the entire Fantastic Four.
