When one considers the great sculptor Michelangelo, "wacky comedy" is probably not the first thing that comes to mind. But in the ever-unusual world of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Michelangelo is the comic relief character. He can still take care of himself in a scrap, though: He is here equipped with two nunchakus along with two ninja throwing stars. Also included is a rappelling hook set-up that’s perfect for escaping dangerous situations. Parents may wish to consider discussing the notion of "cartoon violence" versus "actual violence" before handing a child a toy of a turtle that uses deadly weapons. The range of motion here is limited, but that can be overlooked. After all, even though they’re teenagers and ninjas, they’re still turtles. --Charlie Williams
