Hobgoblin is Green Goblin's successor and the villain who has taken to making our favorite web slinger's life miserable. Despite being a good concept, the quality of these figures falls short. Hobgoblin's sculpting is good, but the amount of paint used obliterates most of the facial detail. The trademark goblin glider is bright purple (reminiscent of earlier versions), but doesn't have any special features. Spider-Man's paint job is simply awful. It sports mismatched lines and a somewhat questionable paint scheme, particularly around the head. There aren't nearly enough accessories, and the included motion trading card doesn't really increase the toy's coolness factor. --A. Galindo
