Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Spanning Adventure Comics 340-349 (January-October 1966), the fifth volume of Legion of Super-Heroes Archives is where the book started its peak period. It begins with the mad machine Computo who kills a Legionnaire; a member faces expulsion for killing; Ferro Lad, Karate Kid, and Princess Projectra are introduced; the warlike Khund race is discovered; and Doctor Regulus and Universo make their first appearances. But more important than the new characters was the new writer, 13-year-old wunderkind Jim Shooter, whose writing (and storyboarding, the large-panel style of which is noticeably different from the norm) would carry the Legion to new heights.--David Horiuchi
